Indications: It is used for the treatment of cutaneous infections, particularly oral and genital herpes (initial and recurrent), caused by the herpes simplex virus.
Dosage: Apply enough cream to cover the affected area every 4 hours, 5 times a day. It is crucial to start treatment immediately upon the first symptoms of the infection. The treatment should be continued for 5 days, and if complete healing is not achieved by that time, it can be extended for an additional 5 days, up to a total of 10 days.
