Amoxicillin Capsules 500mg
Amoxicillin is indicated for the treatment of microbial infections in the following locations, caused by strains of bacteria sensitive to amoxicillin: Infections of the upper respiratory tract (including ENT), such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media. Infections of the lower respiratory tract, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bacterial pneumonia, and bronchopneumonia; Odontostomatological infections; Infections of the gastrointestinal tract, such as typhoid and paratyphoid fever (particularly indicated for the treatment of chronic bile carriers). Genitourinary tract infections, such as cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, bacteriuria, gonorrhea, septic abortion, puerperal sepsis; Lyme disease or Borreliosis, for the treatment of localized early infection (first stage or localized erythema migrans) and disseminated infection or second stage; Skin and soft tissue infections (including surgical wound infections); Infections of the biliary tract and gallbladder. Eradication treatment of Helicobacter pylori in combination with a proton pump inhibitor and, if necessary, other antibiotics for peptic ulcer, gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma, low-grade. Prophylaxis of endocarditis: Amoxicillin can be used for the prevention of bacteremia associated with the development of endocarditis. Continuation of parenteral therapy in severe infections: septicemia, endocarditis, and meningitis.
