Ampicillin 1g & Sulbactam 500mg for Injection
Ampicillin/sulbactam is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. Typical indications include upper respiratory tract infections, including sinusitis, otitis media, and tonsillitis; lower respiratory tract infections, including bacterial pneumonia and bronchitis; urinary tract infections and pyelonephritis; skin and soft tissue infections; and gonococcal infections. Sultamicillin may also be indicated in patients who require continuation of their treatment with oral ampicillin/sulbactam following initial treatment with IM/IV ampicillin/sulbactam.
