Cefazolin for Injection 1g
Cefazolin is indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible microorganisms: Lower respiratory tract infections: bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and pneumonia. Urinary tract infections: pyelonephritis. Skin and soft tissue infections. Biliary tract infections. Osteoarticular infections. Septicemia. Endocarditis. Perioperative prophylaxis: The perioperative administration of cefazolin reduces the incidence of postoperative infections in patients undergoing contaminated or potentially contaminated surgery, and in those procedures where surgical wound infection can pose a significant risk to the patient.
