Upper respiratory tract infections: Pharyngitis and tonsillitis caused by S. pyogenes. Lower respiratory tract infections: Acute bronchitis, exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, and pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae. ENT infections: Otitis media caused by Haemophilus influenzae, Branhamella (Moraxella) catarrhalis, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Streptococcus pneumoniae. Uncomplicated urinary tract infections caused by E. coli and Proteus mirabilis.
