Cefotaxime for Injection 1g
Cefotaxime is indicated in the treatment of the following infections caused by susceptible germs, such as: Otorhinolaryngological infections; Lower respiratory tract infections, including exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, bacterial pneumonia, infected bronchiectasis, and lung abscesses; Genitourinary tract infections, including uncomplicated gonococcal disease, pelvic cellulitis, endometritis, prostatitis, and salpingitis; Septicemia; Infective endocarditis; Infections of the central nervous system (primarily meningitis caused by Gram-negative germs); Skin and soft tissue infections, including infected burns and wounds; Osteoarticular infections, such as osteomyelitis and septic arthritis; Abdominal cavity infections (peritonitis, biliary tract infections).
